History
Lake City Insurance opened in the summer of 2019. The owner and manager, Pamela Leniuk has been in the insurance industry in both Saskatchewan and Alberta for over 2 decades. Pam has managed brokerages for many years and has found her differentiator – why Lake City clients continue to come back – is seated in her passion for compelling customer service and complete portfolio satisfaction.
When her prior employer sold the brokerage, the decision to found Lake City Insurance was clear. After many discussions with friends within the industry, as well as a referral from a long-time trusted colleague, the process commenced by joining the Excel Insurance group. Excel Insurance Group extended an opportunity that would see Lake City Insurance partner with Excel Insurance Group Lloydminster Inc.
After a mutually beneficial partnership with Excel Insurance Group and Excel Insurance Group Lloydminster Inc, Pam decided it was time to branch out on her own separate from Excel. In August of 2025, the rebranding began and Lake City Insurance (2023) Ltd was formed becoming an independently owned and managed brokerage.
